P. Ramlee - legends of all time.

"Aku mahu hidup 1000 tahun lagi"

That he told one friend. But what has been said that in jest, is now a reality. Surely no one who does not know him. Introduction to the late great artist Tan Sri Teuku Zakaria bin Teuku Nyak White. He is better known by the name of P. Ramlee is not only talented artists but also as an icon of all time.

Who does not laugh when you see his joke? Who is not fun when listening to his songs? Who is not sad when you see her moving role? Who does not impress with film direction?

It was difficult to find people who could match his intensity. Let alone to find those who can replace P. Ramlee. Until now, no one could replace her as a versatile artist. Despite the contemporary artist, with or from a new generation.

P. Ramlee - History

During the marriage, the P. Ramlee only have 2 children, Nasir and Arfan. Accordingly, the P. Ramlee has taken a number of foster children. Among them were Betty, Zakiah @ Zazaloma, Sabaruddin @ Badin, and finally, Dian.

In the world of the local film, P. Ramlee was acting in 66 films. Beginning with the first movie 'Chinta' and to the last film until "Laksamana Do Re Mi '. In the world of sound art, the P. Ramlee was sing 359 songs.

P. Ramlee also won several awards at Asian Film Festival in Hang Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo. Last but not least, at the Berlin International Film Festival.

P. Ramlee’s life is not long. He died at the age of 44 years on the morning of Tuesday, May 29, 1973 for a heart attack. His funeral was prayed at Masjid Kampung Baru and is buried in the cemetery of Muslims in Jalan Ampang. May Allah bless his departure.
